Been going to this restaurant for years... Honestly sorry I haven’t written a review sooner. This place is amazing and I hope and pray it never ever ever closes. From the moment you walk in, the friendly staff make you feel right at home. And as for the food... I’ve never had anything bad here. The Pad Thai is a classic done right—perfectly balanced with just the right mix of sweet, savory, and tangy flavors, topped with crunchy peanuts. For something bolder, the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) is a must-try. It’s rich, spicy, and loaded with fresh basil and vegetables that bring the dish to life. One of the standouts on the menu is the Tom Kha soup. Creamy, fragrant, and slightly sweet, this coconut milk-based soup is comfort in a bowl. It’s a great way to start your meal or even enjoy as a light main dish. If you’re craving something hearty, the Yellow Chicken Fried Rice is packed with flavor—rich, turmeric-kissed rice, tender chicken, and just the right amount of seasoning make it a satisfying option. THIS HAS BEEN MY NEW FAV!! Don’t skip the Gyoza either. These pan-fried dumplings are crisp on the outside and filled with savory goodness inside—great as a starter or a side. Thai Tie manages to combine consistently delicious food with genuinely kind and attentive service. Try it out! Even if you’ve never tried Thai food. And believe me, I’ve tried other Thai spots all over dfw and this is the best!!
I ate here for a work lunch. My wife is also Thai and she’s the best cook at the Thai church she goes to. I must say I was really surprised. The food I ordered was great. Very similar to my wife’s cooking. I would definitely go back.
Just finished up lunch here and it was so good! I grabbed the orange chicken with a spice level of three. It was delicious with the perfect amount of spice. We had the steamed dumplings as an appetizer and they were perfection. The iced Thai tea was also tasty. The service was quick and friendly- shout out to TK!
No tie here, they are the best in town. Very friendly and extreme confidence in the quality and flavor of their food. The owner takes a lot of pride in the dishes prepared, as she should. Everything was delicious. We ordered to-go, Thai fried rice and drunken noodles. The cream cheese crab is a new favorite of mine. The sweet and sour sauce is unmatched!
Enjoy the flavors here very much! Food is made with much care, great fusion of flavors, Very nice ambiance and the service was timely and very genuine. Be sure to bring your own wine and they will happily bring you a wine glass or two! The orange chicken is from scratch and amazing, the yellow and massaman curries are fantastic. You can order with beef, chicken, or pork. Be sure to try the Tom Kha soup!
I went on a date here and it was great! The food was top notch hands down the best Thai I've ever had or even made myself! We got steamed dumplings to start and I got the punang curry and my date got orange chicken we also got Thai tea and Thai iced coffee both were perfect. TK was our server and chef and he was attentive but not overbearing and his food looks like the pictures online perfection! The restaurant is nicely decorated and provides a nice atmosphere. 5 out of 5 stars no doubt is my favorite restaurant!
Always delicious whether we order to-go or eat there. Our favorite menu items are chicken pad thai, tom kha soup, panang curry and black pepper fish. Friendly staff, reasonably priced, casual atmosphere.
Update in March 2023... Since we put up great reviews the place started getting a lot more business. We went back and it was absolutely horrible service. They had a single girls trying to run the entire place; checking people out, taking takeout orders and waitress. The entire dining room was full and about half the people were obviously done for awhile and quite ready to leave. We were given menus when we were seated but after 45mins without so much as being offered water or drink orders we got up and left. I hope they will get with the program quickly and hire some staff or in my opinion they shouldn't have a dining room. The food is obviously good there was a very busy takeout going on. I am not sure if people in the area don't like great Thai food or don't realize this place is there; we were concerned to see not many people there during a Saturday dinner hour but they are one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to and I come from a foodie rich area. Great prices, great selection, and excellent service and atmosphere. We brought little kids and they were very kid friendly. We will definitely be going back now that we have found this spot.
